After making big moves earlier this month VeChain keeps on rolling full steam. After announcing several big partnerships for the past weeks, VeChain is launching VeResearch.

After the research and breakthrough done under veChain’s Chief Scientist Mr. Zhou Ziheng at their headquarters, the VEN startup now intends to further expand the research team and create a strong collaboration with parties interested in joining forces. For this, VeResearch is based on a pool of funds used to support parties interested in joining forces in order to further engage in collaborative research in blockchain related technological advancements, more specifically, experiments and research for new technology. For this VeResearch wants to include top universities and research labs around the world.

The team also announced they already have 4 of the top world universities working alongside the project.

Specifics:

The Foundation will be allocating 1 million VET tokens over the next 2 years into VeResearch.

VeResearch has a big focus on topics like blockchain technology innovation research or blockchain integration with existing tech, focus on solving real life problems, as well as research around the VeChain Thor blockchain.

Topics will have funding ranging from a minimum of 50k UDS to a maximum of 1 million USD.

VeResearch wants to work with at least 12 teams of research individuals in 2018.

With big updates coming to VeChain, the rebrand, as well as recent public notoriety due to several new partnerships, some of which are very unique and great for the project, VeChain is only investing more into what is the future of blockchain.

By strongly affirming a new research community within the VeChain technology expansion, as well as blockchain technology, the VEN startup is laying a great groundwork in order to bring more awareness and power to cryptocurrencies in general.
